Job Summary
Service Technician for Prisma Health's durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies. Responsibilities include cleaning, bagging, tagging equipment to ensure deliveries are patient-ready; coordinating safe handling, transport, and documentation; educating patients and caregivers on equipment use, infection control, home safety, and financial responsibilities; rotating on-call with other technicians; maintaining vehicle/inventory cleanliness and organization; completing checklists and paperwork promptly; and reporting shortages to warehouse staff. Requires at least high school diploma (preferred), two years of patient education/delivery or customer service experience, and a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR and auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience - Two (2) years patient education / delivery or customer service experience
- A valid driver’s license; an acceptable motor vehicle record, as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart; and proof of auto insurance.
