Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles across various makes and models while adhering to manufacturer standards and company policies. Accurately document all work in repair orders, conduct multi-point inspections, and communicate repair needs and time estimates with Service Advisors and management. Stay current with manufacturer training and bulletins to ensure repairs meet quality standards before delivery. Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition while following all safety and environmental procedures. Assist team members as needed to promote efficiency and uphold core values of accountability and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- Must provide personal tools appropriate for skill level
Desired Qualifications
- dealership experience
- OEM certifications (Ford, Lincoln, Volvo, or Mitsubishi)
- ASE certifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
