Job Summary
Provides independent field hardware and software support on building automation systems including HVAC control systems, security systems and life-safety systems. Installs system additions and turnkey systems. Provides 24-hour customer service. Requires Licensed Electrical Journeyperson and 5+ years of BAS experience; strong ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems, read drawings and schematics, and lead field projects with customer focus and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Journeyperson
- High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education in related field desirable
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with building automation systems or in a related field
- Ability to understand design and design-intent of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical and control drawings, specifications, schematics and ladder diagrams
- Working knowledge of building automation systems software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work a frequently changing schedule to meet customer demands
