Job Summary
Service Technician B responsible for building and overhauling high-speed automation equipment, supporting new custom machine builds, installations, troubleshooting, audits and repair at Ardagh Technical Center or customer sites. Tasks include following engineering drawings, disassembling/reassembling systems, assembling subassemblies, using hydraulic/pneumatic/mechanical drawings, precision inspection, recommending process improvements, and safely operating forklifts, overhead crane and hand tools. Requires working in team environments on day and night shifts, willingness to travel up to 50%, lifting up to 75 lbs, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly or machinist experience
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
- Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude test
- Overtime and travel as necessary including weekends and various shift hours
