Job Summary
Complete service requests and work orders accurately using Yardi or EliseAI platforms. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. Conduct daily property walks to identify hazards and prepare vacant units for move-in within five business days. Participate in preventive maintenance programs, log tasks, and respond to emergency requests within required timeframes while adhering to the on-call rotation. Maintain the shop, track inventory, and report needs to the Service Manager. Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and communicate professionally with residents and vendors. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential property maintenance or related field
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, EliseAI, Moved, or equivalent)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or in confined spaces
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and exposure to varying weather conditions
- Journeyman, electrical and plumbing
- Full-time, typically Monday through Friday weekend may be required
- On-call availability for emergency maintenance after hours as scheduled
- Service Technicians must wear the company-issued uniform and safety gear during work hours and maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification preferred
- EPA certification a plus
