Job Summary
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair propane and/or heating oil systems and appliances through structured on-the-job and instructor-led training. Complete online safety, security, and hazmat modules while obtaining a Commercial Driver's License with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements. Assist with system installations and may deliver propane and/or heating oil on an as-needed basis. This full-time, company-paid training program culminates in preparation for a Service Technician role, supported by competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a national network serving millions of customers.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs.
- Possess exceptional customer service skills
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2) by responding to official inquiries and understanding highway traffic signs and signals in the English language. This includes the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
