Job Summary
Apprentice Service Technician responsible for learning and performing troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, service, and repair of machine tools. Participates in on-the-job training including installations and showroom preparation; communicates with customers about arrival, progress, and checkout; collaborates with team and vendors to resolve issues; maintains accurate work records and documentation; keeps technical and interpersonal skills current; supports department needs and adheres to safety requirements. Travel for training and customer support may be required; willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings in a manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electro/Mechanical, CNC Technology, or a minimum of a High School Degree/Vocational Machining Training and 2 years experience in the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of Machine Tools Products or Maintenance Repair
- A valid Drivers License, a good driving record, and the ability to operate a company Service vehicle or personal vehicle for company business
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Passport and travel for training/out-of-state or out-of-country customers
