Job Summary
Learn and perform troubleshooting, installation, service, and repair of machine tools as part of an apprentice program. Responsibilities include on-the-job training, installations, showroom preparation, repairs, and preventive maintenance; maintain high quality standards; communicate with customers and team members; document work records; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; and travel as required for training and field service. Candidates should have a 2-year technical degree (or HS degree with relevant machining training and experience), possess a valid driver's license and passport, and demonstrate strong teamwork, safety awareness, and customer-service orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2-year technical degree in Electronic, Electrical, Electro/Mechanical, CNC Technology, or a minimum of a High School Degree/Vocational Machining Training and 2 years experience in the troubleshooting, installation, and repair of Machine Tools Products or Maintenance Repair
- A valid Drivers License, a good driving record, and the ability to operate a company Service vehicle or personal vehicle for company business
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Passport; travel to support training, out-of-state or out-of-country customers
- Demonstrated commitment of customer satisfaction
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to participate as a member of a team, cross-department collaboration
- Ability to use PC and job-related software/programs for programming, documentation/record keeping
