Job Summary
Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining propane equipment for retail customers under direct supervision. Develop knowledge on loading, securing, transporting, and delivering propane to specified destinations while inspecting vehicles and notifying supervisors of needed supplies or maintenance. Prepare and maintain regulatory records, operate trucks per safety procedures, and deliver exceptional customer service by providing safety information and answering inquiries. Train with team members on after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed, with potential to drive a Bobtail truck on rotation once qualified. Work alongside experienced technicians to learn the trade before transitioning to a full Service Technician role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain Commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained
- Good driving record
- Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
- Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
- Must be able to work on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed
- Must be willing to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or 'On Call' rotation
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement
