Job Summary
Service Technician – Level 1 performs basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural equipment. Follows Technical Manual procedures, communicates with customers about work performed, and participates in required training to advance skills. Requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; forklift license preferred. Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and rotate on-call responsibilities; physical ability for heavy lifting and manual tasks; adherence to safety regulations and proper documentation of work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One or more years of experience performing service repairs is preferred
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment is preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one
