Job Summary
Join a growing service team at a family-owned manufacturer of custom-engineered overhead crane systems as a Service Technician. This hands-on position involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale overhead crane systems in U.S. industrial facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a field service, maintenance, or industrial technician
- Strong electrical background with hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Experience with 480V systems and industrial motor controls
- Ability to wire control panels and read electrical schematics
- Proficiency with PLC/VFD troubleshooting and diagnostic tools
- Basic mechanical aptitude (hoists, gearboxes, drive assemblies)
- Ability to work safely in industrial environments
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience
- Experience with cranes, hoists, or material handling systems
- Familiarity with automation systems or control logic
- Commissioning/start-up experience for electrical or mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA or NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
- Mechanical fabrication skills (drilling, cutting, fitting)
- Technical certificate or associate degree in electrical, mechatronics, or industrial maintenance
