Job Summary
Residential Service Technician for ADT responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming security/site automation solutions; services fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control; tests system signals with central monitoring; acts as a customer-service champion with focus on home protection. Must have service experience, technical aptitude, strong verbal communication, customer-focused mindset, and a valid driver's license; high school diploma or GED required; typically requires 2+ years of related installation/repair experience. For the South Bend, IN location.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as required for clearing equipment trouble
- Standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, crawling
