Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing building systems to restore units to move-in ready condition, assisting with apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, and rehabilitation projects. Role involves using industry-specific technology to complete repairs, handling maintenance requests, addressing hazardous conditions, and supporting resident services. Requires OSHA/safety compliance knowledge, basic computer skills, and ability to work with hand tools; on-call and extended hours may be required. Onsite work at Katy, TX properties with potential for overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience
- High School or GED (General Education Diploma) is a plus
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision
- Required to provide own (industry specific) hand tools
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Full range of motion with upper and lower body
- Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable
- Exposure to all weather conditions
