Job Summary
Spectrum Field Technician installs and repairs services outdoors, educates customers on usage, and works in a dynamic field environment. The role is entry-level with on-the-job training and a career self-progression plan that enables advancement from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV with 10% increases per progression, plus potential bonuses and opportunities to earn industry certifications. The job emphasizes active outdoor work, problem solving, building relationships with customers and colleagues, and using hand tools and computers. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises and locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competence with hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders up to 32 feet
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
