Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services, educating customers on usage, and supporting customers in outdoor environments. Role is entry-level with training provided and a path for self-progression to higher technician levels, including pay increases at progression levels. Opportunities to earn industry-recognized certification and grow into leadership positions. Emphasis on solving technical challenges, staying active outdoors, building relationships with customers and colleagues, and starting at $20.50/hour with a clear progression plan and additional incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications. Competent in using hand tools.
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work outdoors in various conditions
