Job Summary

Paint vacant apartments and execute maintenance repairs on occupied units, including drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance fixes. Perform carpentry, interior/exterior painting, and flooring repairs on vinyl, plank, and carpet. Conduct preventative maintenance, clean pools, and manage chemical balances per city ordinances. Handle daily resident service requests with minimal supervision and assist with grounds maintenance like trash removal and snow clearing. Utilize Weidner apps, drive between properties, and rotate on-call shifts. Maintain logs and adhere to safety protocols while supporting the broader maintenance team across Weidner communities.

Required Qualifications

3-5 years maintenance experience
3-5 years of painting and drywall repairs
High degree of mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds/36.3 kilograms
Ability to climb ladders and climb multiple flights of stairs at a time
Ability to use appliance dolly, push/pull up to 200 pounds/90.7 kilograms
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to be on feet constantly for entire work shift
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, swimming pool maintenance, appliances, building systems, irrigation systems, and HVAC systems
HVAC, CPO, EPA certification
