Job Summary
Paint vacant apartments and execute repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and building infrastructure. Perform detailed carpentry, drywall work, and interior/exterior painting, including identifying correct paint sheen and color. Independently service residents for daily requests with minimum supervision and conduct preventative maintenance as assigned. Manage pool chemical balance, maintain logs, and perform grounds tasks such as trash removal, snow removal, and pet waste disposal. Utilize Weidner apps, travel between properties by personal vehicle, and rotate on-call schedules as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years maintenance experience
- 3-5 years of painting and drywall repairs
- High degree of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds/36.3 kilograms
- Ability to climb ladders and climb multiple flights of stairs at a time
- Ability to use appliance dolly, push/pull up to 200 pounds/90.7 kilograms
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to be on feet constantly for entire work shift
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, swimming pool maintenance, appliances, building systems, irrigation systems, and HVAC systems
- HVAC, CPO, EPA certification
- Industry designations, CAMT
- Ability to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
- Working knowledge of English
- Detail oriented
- Well organized
- Must agree to a criminal background check
- Sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation
- Driver's license

- Valid and unexpired driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance
- Match the country in which associate will work
- Ability to work overtime as requested

Desired Qualifications
- HVAC, CPO, EPA certification desired or required, as directed by regional leadership
- Industry designations, CAMT desired
- Experienced in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Yardi and Paycom experience
- Willing and able to learn new software programs
