Job Summary
Service Technician 2 collaborates with automation engineers to maintain robust performance across equipment and automation systems, perform routine QC/calibrations, maintain records and logs, respond to service requests, and troubleshoot issues in a regulated lab environment. Requires extensive hands-on maintenance, equipment documentation, and strong communication; swing shift; Millbrae, CA site.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience
- Experience with maintenance tasks and qualification checks on integrated automation systems
- Experience maintaining parts inventory through CMMS
- Experience supporting laboratory equipment and automation troubleshooting (VWorks preferred)
- Experience with working in a regulated biological lab setting
- Experience with OQ and PQ validation processes
- Excellent documentation and analytical skills
- Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday swing shift (2:30pm–11:00pm)
