Job Summary
Handle simple repairs to portable electric and pneumatic tools, light construction equipment, and outdoor products by troubleshooting failures, disassembling units, and replacing worn components. Assist with shop maintenance, inspect tools for safe operation, and complete work orders using repair parts and labor. Manage inventory to ensure accuracy with parts and accessories while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform duties including interpreting mechanical diagrams and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults. This role offers on-the-job training with a competitive salary of $20/hr for the 1st shift, Mon-Fri.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics and printed servicing data
- Knowledge of electricity principles and air flow as it applies to a power source for power tools
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in power tools and equipment
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Goal driven mentality
- You like to meet and maintain daily/weekly/quarterly productivity goals without sacrificing quality
