Job Summary
Maintenance technician responsible for preparing vacant apartments for occupancy and providing timely, quality service to residents. Performs painting, drywall repairs, electrical/plumbing/hot water heater repairs, carpentry, interior/exterior painting, flooring work, and responds to resident service requests with moderate supervision. Conducts preventative maintenance, pool maintenance (chemical balance, logs per city ordinances), and daily grounds tasks. Works independently with strong time management, attention to detail, and customer-service mindset; comfortable using Weidner-issued apps and traveling between properties using a personal vehicle. May participate in on-call rotation; requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and adherence to safety and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years maintenance experience
- 1+ years painting and drywall repairs preferred
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- EPA certification desired
- Completion of tasks safely and efficiently
- Willingness to work overtime and be assigned to other properties
- Must have access to personal vehicle and reliable transportation
- Driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance valid and aligned with work country
- Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and pool maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and climb ladders
- Criminal background check and consent for drug testing
