Job Summary
Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires while inspecting vehicles for wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns. Assist customers with tire recommendations and perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections. Operate shop equipment safely, maintain inventory and shop cleanliness, and work within a team-oriented environment. This role involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Gills Point S offers training for those without prior automotive experience, emphasizing safety policies and customer support in a stable, full-time setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Team player who enjoys helping customers
- Must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to safely operate shop equipment
