Job Summary
Lead maintenance and warranty support for 4500 HP and 6000 HP locomotives in Uttar Pradesh, providing technical guidance to teams on diesel shed operations. Plan and execute scheduled, unscheduled, and heavy maintenance including wreck repair, ensuring all activities adhere to laid-down procedures, timelines, costs, and EHS policies. Conduct in-depth technical analysis of recurring failure modes, manage complex warranty investigations, and support root cause analysis for critical system failures. Develop and implement technical repair strategies, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate warranty protocols while escalating non-compliances to appropriate authorities. Interface with field service teams, engineering, and customers to drive performance levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- 12+ years applicable operations experience in maintenance of Locomotives
- Experience/exposure to IT tools for the purposes of planning and executing work
- Ability lead teams in a shop environment
- Willingness to work in 24x7 operations - different shifts, various days
