Job Summary
Service Technicians inspect buildings and perform repairs or readiness work including framing and finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more on WillScot’s fleet of modular buildings. Responsibilities include safety leadership, maintaining a safe work environment, operating a company vehicle, performing repairs to mobile office trailers, conducting inspections/check-in-out for rentals, creating floor plan drawings, implementing modifications as requested, maintaining inventory of tools/parts, providing courteous customer service, ensuring trailers are ready for scheduled deliveries, completing paperwork for deliveries/pick-ups/service calls, and performing HVAC checks per company guidelines; duties may be assigned at field locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently
- Some knowledge of computers
- Good communications skills
- Carpentry knowledge and experience
- Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus
- Current valid driver’s license with clean record
