Service Tech Trainee (ORLANDO, FL AREA )

Entry-level Service Tech Trainee position in the Orlando, FL area. Trains to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fueling and charging equipment, including gasoline dispensing units and POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR). Training, lodging, and meals are paid for; typical work week is at least 40 hours with potential overtime and an on-call rotation after training. Responsibilities include completing service calls at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities; documenting service calls; communicating with dispatch and management; explaining technical issues to customers in non-technical terms; troubleshooting and repairing fueling equipment and related POS systems; installing, programming, and testing petroleum equipment; and performing preventive maintenance. Requires HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to work outdoors, drug screen and background check, and ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
