Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and maintain wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, and other mobility equipment by performing mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting. Inspect units to identify issues, replace or adjust components as needed, and test equipment to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate service records, communicate repair details to customers, and keep work areas clean while following all safety procedures. Requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work independently. Part-time schedule of 25+ hours per week with opportunity for additional hours.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience repairing wheelchairs, scooters, power chairs, or mobility equipment
  • Mechanical or electrical repair experience
  • Experience with batteries, motors, wiring, or basic electrical systems
  • Automotive, small-engine, appliance, HVAC, or similar repair experience
  • Previous field service or technician experience
