Job Summary
Respond to all resident work order requests to quickly diagnose and correct HVAC, appliance, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing issues. Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems, inspect the community daily for maintenance needs, and assist in preparing units for move-in. Clear snow and ice during inclement weather and work a flexible schedule that includes sharing on-call duty requiring emergency responses within 30 minutes. Maintain a valid driver's license and possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. HVAC and plumbing certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of maintenance experience in apartments, hotels, or similar environment
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and appliances
- Working knowledge of plumbing fixtures
- Basic electrical circuitry
- Skilled in the use of power and hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Professional presentation
