Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping in commercial and multi-family residential environments. Install and replace water heaters, pumps, valves, and backflow devices while utilizing specialized equipment like sewer cameras and pipe locators. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of drainage and water supply lines, interpret construction drawings, and ensure all work complies with local codes and OSHA safety standards. Mentor junior technicians, provide accurate documentation of service reports, and respond to emergency calls via on-call rotation. Maintain clean, safe job sites and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plumbing (commercial or multi-family setting preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficient in using plumbing hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and service software (where applicable)
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in confined or elevated spaces
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without future employment sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman license or in process of obtaining plumbing licensure
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience with drain cleaning equipment, jetting, and camera inspections
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- OSHA 10/30 or safety training certifications
- Experience with high-efficiency commercial water heating systems, booster pumps, or hydronic heating
