Job Summary
Service Technician in United Rentals Flooring Solutions performs maintenance checks and repairs on rental flooring equipment, reports machine condition to Management, demonstrates equipment to customers, and assists with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, basic electrical knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and superior customer service and communication skills. This role is Safety Sensitive and involves working with equipment and customer interactions; potential for advancement to higher level Technician roles within the Service Department.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Basic knowledge of electrical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
