Job Summary
Experienced Service Technician in Waycross, GA area responsible for troubleshooting and repairing gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett), troubleshooting and repairing electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR), installing, programming and testing new petroleum equipment, analyzing electrical and mechanical problems, performing scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling systems, and communicating technical issues to customers in plain language. Role involves working with branch managers and technicians, potential pairing with a trainee for training, and variable hours based on workload and customer needs. Requires 2+ years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, and dispenser certifications; ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform local travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
- At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units
- Hold valid dispenser certification(s)
