Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair gasoline dispensing units and electronic POS systems, including analyzing electrical and mechanical problems to provide necessary fixes. Install, program, and test new petroleum equipment while performing scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance on fueling systems. Communicate with customers to explain technical issues in non-technical terms, working alongside branch managers, dispatchers, and trainees. This role requires at least two years of experience maintaining dispenser hydraulics and submerged pumps, valid certifications, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with daily local travel. Hours vary based on workload and customer needs rather than a standard 8-5 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Issued Driver's License and good driving record
- At least 2+ years' experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units
- Hold valid dispenser certification(s)
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- daily local travel
