Job Summary
Service Technician responsible for performing routine pool maintenance (vacuuming, brushing, skimming, water testing), seasonal pool openings/closings, diagnosing and repairing pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automation, plumbing), completing installations as needed, balancing water chemistry, and providing professional customer service during field visits. Role requires safe operation of company vehicles and tools, adherence to safety standards, accurate documentation of service notes, and the ability to work independently or with a team in outdoor environments. Preferred candidates have prior pool service or mechanical experience and may hold a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification; strong troubleshooting, customer service, and time-management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience preferred in pool service, maintenance, construction, or mechanical fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
