Job Summary
Service Technician to maintain and repair drilling rigs and related support equipment on remote client sites; perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, diagnose system malfunctions, replace bearings/belts/hydraulic parts, ensure safety and environmental compliance, work in confined spaces and challenging weather conditions, and be available for extended hours/on-call with strict PPE adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician within an industrial or field service environment
- Direct experience working on drilling rigs or with heavy equipment in the drilling sector
- Proven ability to diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot complex systems, and perform effective repairs
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess mechanical performance
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a demanding work environment
- Understanding of confined space entry procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment
- Willingness to work extended hours and on-call shifts as needed
