Job Summary
Repair and overhaul industrial natural gas engines, including cylinder head overhauls, component disassembly, and rebuilds. Perform small engine repairs, tune-ups, and use measurement and test equipment proficiently. Ensure all jobs are completed safely and maintain a clean shop workspace after every task. Utilize company training opportunities and operate shop equipment effectively while protecting company assets. Travel and stay overnight as required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year(s) previous experience
- GED, High School Diploma, trade school or special service training
- working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives
- meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
- conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company
- current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance standards if driving company vehicle
- pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation
- ability to bend and twist several times a day
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to work flexible hours and days
- dependable and work independently
- maintain good client relations
- maintain a professional appearance
- promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
- ability to travel and stay overnight
- ability to effectively operate shop equipment
- ability to rebuild engine components
- obtain required manufacture certifications
- ability to furnish all the necessary hand tools and pneumatic accessories that will be used in their day to day activities, along with a tool box for storing
