Job Summary
Service Tech responsible for troubleshooting and repairing gasoline dispensing units (Gilbarco, Dresser Wayne, Gasboy, Bennett), as well as electronic POS systems (VeriFone, Gilbarco, NCR). Install, program and test new petroleum equipment; analyze electrical and mechanical problems and perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance to fueling systems. Communicate technical issues to customers in a non-technical manner. Role involves outdoor work, daily local travel, and potential pairing with a trainee for training/certification. Position requires a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, dispenser certifications, and at least 2+ years of relevant experience. Company provides updated training and certifications to advance in the Petroleum industry; hours may vary based on workload.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License and good driving record
- At least 2+ years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining gasoline dispensing units including dispenser hydraulics and submerged pump units
- Hold valid dispenser certification(s)
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather; daily local travel; lifting 50-75 lbs
