Job Summary
Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting clients, engaging them to build relationships, and advising on products and promotions. Maximize product inventory by processing freight, organizing stock, building displays, and fulfilling orders for in-store and curbside pick-up. Support digital business operations including driving and making deliveries if assigned, while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards across the store. Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to maintain product knowledge and ensure adherence to all applicable alcohol laws. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, requiring the ability to stand for 8-10 hours daily and lift up to 50 lbs. This role contributes to Total Wine & More's mission as America's largest independent retailer of wine, spirits, and beer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to drive and make deliveries if assigned
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 1+ years of experience in a retail setting
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
