Service Systems Specialist (HVAC Controls) - All Levels

Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of HVAC controls systems for new and retrofit projects. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls problems while loading software on network and field controllers. Respond to emergency service calls and perform device verification to ensure proper system installation. Complete required project documentation, punch lists, and electronic reports including time sheets and expense reports. Communicate with customers to inform them of service status, recommend upgrades, and provide training on control systems operations. Coordinate activities with service managers, project managers, and subcontractors while assisting sales with technical recommendations for retrofits.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems
- Vocational School 2-year program graduate or an Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or equivalent industry experience
- 1-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment
- Ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites
- Must have experience in writing as well as demonstrated understanding of computer programs and software applications as related to the HVAC Industry
- Valid Driver's license with a clean record
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
- Positions where driving is an essential function will also require a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Desired Qualifications
- Siemens automation front-end experience is strongly preferred for the following; Desigo CC, Desigo Optic, Apogee Insight, Datamate Advanced, ABT site
- Apogee/Talon and Desigo hardware experience is strongly preferred
