Service Support Technician

Job Summary
Operate a forklift approximately 50% of the workday to move, stage, and organize heavy equipment within the yard and service areas. Unload incoming equipment and materials, consistently reposition assets, and maintain organization and proper staging for service and delivery. Keep service bays, driveways, and customer parking areas clear, clean, and secure while following all department safety practices and equipment handling procedures. Spend approximately 75% of the workday outdoors in varying weather conditions, performing physically demanding tasks including lifting and maneuvering heavy materials. Assist service technicians with equipment setup and pre-delivery preparation, support shipping and receiving, and perform general labor tasks in support of service operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- Experience operating a forklift
- Ability to understand, read and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to multi-task and be detailed orientated with demonstrated follow through and organizational skills
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of machines and equipment
- Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to equipment
- Spend approximately 75% of the workday working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regularly lift, move, push, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
- Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
