Job Summary
Establish daily work schedules for maintenance staff, follow up on assignments for thorough completion, and make regular community inspections. Manage emergency maintenance on-call schedules, post telephone numbers, and notify management of problems with recommended solutions. Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, prepare maintenance records, and maintain updated preventive maintenance information. Oversee contract labor, obtain competitive pricing, and approve expenditures within budget guidelines. Supervise outside contractors and maintenance personnel while maintaining positive relations with residents.
Required Qualifications
- Fifth year college or university program certificate
- four years in a service position at an apartment community
- training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- EPA certification - Universal Level
- HVAC certification
- Close vision
- ability to adjust focus
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
