Job Summary
Supervise tire bay operations by managing team members, ensuring safe environments, and overseeing proper tire installation, mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing. Install, sell, and repair tires while coordinating special-order programs, monitoring sales transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory and equipment. Deliver service excellence at the tire desk, manage audits and checklists, and ensure all team certifications are current. Lead the club-level training process, coach staff on GOLD Member Standards, and drive performance by utilizing reporting to identify trends and correct process breakdowns. Maintain a clean, organized bay and waiting area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards while building high-performing teams.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of tires, batteries, propane tanks, and tire bay equipment
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Any person working as a Manager on Duty in the State of Florida must be able to successfully complete and hold a qualifier certification, through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
- Any person overseeing retail propane operations must hold a qualifier certification
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma and/or college degree preferred
- Prior tire installation and sales experience preferred
- Level 400 certified technician preferred
