Job Summary
Oversee and perform maintenance and make-ready tasks for Greystar communities, including diagnosing defects from resident service requests, completing repairs per safety and code standards, conducting pre-move-in inspections and creating punch lists, supervising and coordinating vendors/contractors, maintaining inventory and adhering to budgets, and ensuring cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interior unit finishes, and common areas. Requires hands-on mechanical work, EPA HVAC certifications or equivalent, tool proficiency, strong customer service to residents, and ability to schedule around safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and company procedures; role involves occasional travel within properties, flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal (if working on sealed HVAC system)
- Valid driver’s license (if operating a golf cart)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in tools and basic math
- Experience in property management maintenance or related trades
