Job Summary
Communicate job status, descriptions, and costs to commercial marine operators; send repair estimates for approval and secure payments per company policy. Assist the Service Manager with technician job assignments, ensure necessary parts and supplies are available, and maintain quality control throughout the process. Create final customer invoices with complete explanations and charges, then review them with customers. Ensure all service performed adheres to company safety and standard operating procedures. Read and interpret technician writeups to clearly communicate recommended repairs while building technical knowledge of diesel engines and vessel applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Basic computer navigation skills
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in diesel engines, commercial marine service, heavy equipment, or a related mechanical field
- Prior experience with ServicePro
