Job Summary
Service Specialist II responsible for repairing variable speed drives and downhole equipment at client sites, performing well analyses, troubleshooting surface and downhole systems, and recommending design improvements to maximize VSD performance. Will repair VSDs, surface sensors, and communications gear, train other technicians in drive setup and basic repairs, maintain service reports, ensure HSE compliance, contribute to quality-improvement processes, and assist in supervising or mentoring teammates with basic training. Requires hands-on electrical/system troubleshooting experience and a journeyman certificate; position is full-time and on-site at the Odessa, TX location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman electrical certificate
- 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience
