Job Summary
Respond to routine, non-routine, and emergency service calls to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts in fire alarm and electronic security systems. Isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software while performing preventative maintenance on installed systems. Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and job cost tracking, and execute custom system integrations, upgrades, and audits as needed. Travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis with minimal overnight travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
- Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems
- Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
- Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

- CCTV experience: Milestone / Genetec
- Access Control experience: AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2
- Intrusion experience: DMP / Bosch
