Job Summary
The Shop Assistant will support the daily operations of the service shop by assisting technicians, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and performing basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, spark plug and air filter checks, and mower blade sharpening. Responsibilities include loading/unloading customer equipment, staging equipment for technicians, organizing tools and parts, keeping the shop and yard clean, and assisting technicians and service writers with daily tasks. Requirements include high school or equivalent, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand tools safely, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role is part-time with benefits including health/dental insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, employee discounts, professional development, and Sundays off.
