Job Summary
Service Sales Representative – Fire Alarm & Low Voltage (Alabama territory) focused on service-based sales including inspection, testing, maintenance, repairs, and small system upgrades. Build and manage customer relationships, develop proposals for inspections and maintenance agreements, maintain a strong sales pipeline using Salesforce, collaborate with branch operations and technicians for accurate scoping and pricing, drive customer satisfaction and retention, participate in trade shows and product demonstrations, and travel within Alabama with occasional overnight travel. The role emphasizes long-term customer relationships and recurring revenue in fire alarm and low voltage services, requiring knowledge of life safety compliance, consultative selling, blueprints/systems interpretation, and CRM proficiency. Authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain any required licenses; background check and drug screening required. Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of proven sales experience in fire alarm and/or low voltage systems, preferably service-based sales
- Strong working knowledge of fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance, and applicable codes (NFPA experience preferred)
- Experience with security, access control, CCTV, or voice/data systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, system drawings, and specifications for accurate quoting
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong follow-through
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain any required state or local licenses
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
