Job Summary
Sell service agreements for fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, and inspections within commercial building systems. Develop sales strategies, qualify prospects, and close deals to meet sales plan objectives while maintaining an active proposal backlog. Conduct building surveys to support estimates, submit accurate sales reports, and foster long-term customer loyalty through collaboration with the service department. Maintain positive relationships with customers and leverage marketing strategies to generate leads and drive service/upgrade opportunities in a matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience (5 years) in sales or related field
- Three (3) years minimum B2B sales experience
- Experience selling a service or intangible or technical product
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal supervision; quota-driven performance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proven hunter mentality; prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals
