Service Sales Engineer

Job Summary
Technical sales professional supporting sales of complex products and services by providing technical expertise, building customer relationships, and supporting the sales team while contributing to company goals. Responsibilities include reading, understanding, and interpreting RFP documents; translating needs contained within RFPs into Service solutions; evaluating technical conformances, functionality, business needs, cost, and risks; collaborating on service solution conceptualization with Sales and Sales Consultants; estimating manpower, labor costs, tools and equipment for Site-based Services in response to RFPs; evaluating risks and developing mitigation plans; supporting cost-based analyses and presenting cost-benefit analyses to customers; helping with post-execution cost analyses; using technical knowledge of product/service offerings to support and build sales; traveling up to 20% domestically. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and experience in warehouse automation or material handling systems; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience in Project/Sales execution
- 2+ years of experience handling moderately complex projects collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
