Service Sales Director

Job Summary
Lead strategy, growth, and execution of service sales; own revenue targets and profitability; build and lead a ~10-person team (including 2 managers) to drive expansion across installed base, lifecycle services, and enterprise opportunities. Define and execute service sales strategy aligned to priorities, and partner with Marketing, Product, and Commercial leaders to go-to-market. Develop leaders, manage senior-level customer relationships, and engage in strategic deals while aligning cross-functional and regional execution. Travel 50% and operate within a global/ regional framework to deliver sustained growth and market expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience
- 15+ years of experience with proven people leadership, including managing managers
- Proven leadership experience in service sales or commercial leadership roles, ideally within life sciences, analytical, or industrial sectors
- Strong track record of delivering growth in complex, matrixed organizations
- Build, mentor and coach a collaborative and performance driven team
- Experience leading managers and multi-layered teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and results
- Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills at senior levels
- Commercial acumen with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, regional, and global environment
