Job Summary
Inside Sales role for services at Vertiv involves managing and growing assigned accounts, performing service proposals, following up on prospect inquiries, and upselling. The role focuses on promoting Vertiv’s service offerings, building relationships, and generating new business, with a generous commission structure and clear exposure to career growth. Responsibilities include meeting revenue targets within accounts, creating and tracking CRM opportunities and quotes, updating opportunities and customer information in the CRM for invoicing, handling inbound/outbound customer communications, escalating technical issues as needed, advocating for the customer across internal teams, gaining knowledge of related product lines through training, and willingness to pivot to other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent (preferably Business Admin, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations)
