Job Summary
Manage and grow a services portfolio across the U.S. utility sector by building a healthy pipeline, improving forecasting clarity, and negotiating service agreements that enhance grid reliability. Identify high-potential accounts, strengthen long-term relationships, and move opportunities to closure through market research, customer insight, and steady commercial judgment. Shape account and sector strategies using customer needs and market trends, then run high-impact campaigns to win, renew, and grow multi-year service agreements. Balance volume, mix, and profitability targets while providing market and competitor studies that inform commercial priorities and response strategies. Collaborate with marketing, business development, and technical teams to refine go-to-market programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5–10 years in sales or marketing
- Experience in energy or power systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Sound understanding of the U.S. utility landscape, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Power BI for planning and tracking
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to travel up to ~60%
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences in person and virtually
